America's top infectious disease doctor says we need to plan for a quiet Thanksgiving because of COVID-19. On Wednesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci told CBS Evening News, “You may have to bite the bullet and sacrifice that social gathering, unless you’re pretty certain that the people that you’re dealing with are not infected.” Fauci said his own children will not be visiting for Thanksgiving this year. The CDC has already suggested keeping Thanksgiving low-key this year.
