"The Walking Dead" star Christian Serratos (you know her as Rosita) steps into the dancing shoes of the Queen of Tejano Music, Selena Quintanilla for the new Netflix series. Serratos plays the singer in a "coming-of-age story following Selena as she chases her dreams." According to Netflix, the show will focus on her time as "a young girl from Texas with big dreams and an even bigger voice," one who went from "singing small gigs to becoming the most successful female Latin artist of all time."
Selena was tragically shot and killed by the president of her fan club, Yolanda Saldivar, in 1995. She was only 23.
