Offset Defends His Boo's "Wap," Addresses Snoop Dogg's Remarks

"Wap" may be my song of the year. It's a certified BOP that displays Cardi B. and Megan Thee Stallion's ability.

Saying the song is controversial would be an understatement. There have been think pieces, political pundits and more that criticize the song for its lewd subject matter.

Well everyone's favorite uncle, Snoop Dogg had some remarks about the song. During a sit down with Julissa Bermudez of “Central Ave” Snoop said, "Let's have some privacy, some intimacy, where he wants to find out as opposed to you telling him. That's like your pride and possession, and that's your jewel of the Nile, that's what you should hold on to. That should be a possession that no one gets to know about until they know about it."

Now this is coming from a guy that made "Ain't No Fun" and "Sexual Eruption."

Offset shared his opinion on the matter.

"I don't get in a female's business, so I'm just gonna say I hate when men do that." Offset says.

In the chat with TMZ, Offset continued saying he doesn’t see the difference between what men rap about and what women are now rapping about, “Men can't speak on women -- they're too powerful, first off, and it's a lot of women empowerment. Like, don't shoot it down.”

I have to agree with Offset. Fellas (and ladies) we've been listening to some raunchy raps from guys for DECADES now. Every time a female rapper comes along to do the same she gets crucified for it. Yet we still want a "freak in the sheets." SMH
