Scott Green, a California plastic surgeon, went live from his operating room during his Virtual Video Traffic Trial on ZOOM in Sacramento this past Thursday. Participants could hear the sound of medical machinery and sounds of suction with the patient just out of view during his virtual court appearance.
When asked if he was in the operating room, Green replied "I am sir. I’m in an operating room right now. Yes, I’m available for trial. Go right ahead.”
Doctor Scott Green was sworn in with blood on his surgical gloves, but the judge was not comfortable with the welfare of the patient and requested a date change for the court appearance. Green insisted he was fit to continue with both the hearing and operation. The Judge disagreed, and Green could face legal actions.
