Lil Nas X has been trending since last week when he dropped his music video for "Montero." It's actually been VERY controversial.
Lil Nas has actually been answering much of the criticism.
Well it doesn't stop there. Nas X collaborated with MSCHF to create a custom sneaker or the "Satan Shoe." The shoe drew the ire of many religious groups, celebrities and normal Twitter users; however it did not stop the the shoes selling out in under a minute.

We're talking about shoes with an upside down pentagram, a literal drop of human blood and of course, the name "Satan Shoe." These shoes are so controversial Nike had to make an official statement saying they had nothing to do with it.
Is Lil Nas X doing too much? Or is he capitalizing on controversy?
