Burn Areas Beware: According to the National Weather Service, a flash flood watch will be in effect beginning today at 12pm to Wednesday evening for parts of the High Desert, the San Gorgonio Pass and mountain areas of Riverside and San Bernardino counties. The San Bernardino County Fire Department Tweeted out a specific warning to those living near or commuting through the burn scar areas in San Bernardino and Riverside counties from the Apple and El Dorado fires from 2020.

Nurses Protest: The Press Enterprise is reporting that nurses will continue to rally outside Inland Empire hospitals throughout the week over mandatory coronavirus vaccinations. Protests are planned in Riverside today; in Fontana on Wednesday; and Ontario on Thursday. Last Thursday California said all medical workers must be vaccinated by Sept. 30.
