This is so terrible! 58-year-old Lisa Steadman from Florida who battled COVID-19 in the hospital for eight days returned home after recovering to find her husband had died from the virus.
They had both been diagnosed with COVID-19 earlier this month, but her husband Ron did not end up in the hospital like her. Things took a turn for the worst for Ron sometime during the eight days that Lisa was in the hospital.
According to Lisa, when she arrived home, "I could hear our little dogs. They were all in the bedroom together, the dogs and him. I rolled to the bedroom door, I opened the door, and he was on the bed passed away".
Neither one of them had received the COVID-19 vaccine because they wanted to wait.
