Well that was fast... Three weeks after launching, CNN Plus is over. The streaming network will shut down on April 30th.
The shocking move comes two weeks after Discovery Networks and WarnerMedia merged.
CNBC reported that CNN Plus only pulled in an average of 10,000 daily viewers. CNN invested significant money into the network, attracting high-profile journalists Chris Wallace from Fox and Kasie Hunt from NBC.
Engadget reports that some of the shows intended for CNN Plus might wind up on HBO Max.
