San Bernardino police arrested 33-year-old Mario Alberto Chan and his 40-year-old girlfriend Regina Deleon, both of San Bernardino, in connection to a March homicide. Chan was charged with murder and Deleon with being an accessory to the murder.
On March 2nd, 40-year-old Jorge Moreno was found dead by police after a report of a suspicious death on the 200 block of E. 10th Street in San Bernardino. Police determined Moreno had been deceased for several days when they found him.
Chan was identified as the killer by San Bernardino police after “countless hours of follow-up, search warrants and interviews”.
