Better request your free COVID tests now at CovidTests.gov, because the site could soon close.
An announcement on the site reads that the program will be suspended this Friday, September 2nd “because Congress hasn’t provided additional funding to replenish the nation’s stockpile of tests.”
The program will be suspended Friday regardless of how many tests remain in the stockpile. Any leftover tests will be saved “for distribution later this year.” [LifeHacker]
