The Fairview Fire in Hemet has burned an at least an estimated 4,000 acres and is 5% contained as of 4pm today. The wildfire has claimed the life of two people and injured another. An evacuation order has been ordered for thousands of homes as of Tuesday afternoon. The fire started Monday afternoon around Fairview Avenue and Bautista Road in and has destroyed several structures. The fire has the potential to reach up to 7,000 acres according to officials.
