IE Students Read 10 Million Words In Summer Reading Challenge

Congratulations are in order for a group of great Inland Empire students who stepped up in a Summer Reading Challenge! The Riverside County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Edwin Gomez challenged students to collectively read 5 million words over the summer, but that goal was exceeded! According to the City News Group, over 2,000 students read more than 10 million words!

Quite a few went above and beyond and earned themselves an Apple iPad for their efforts:
