David Arthur Riden, a former high school assistant varsity football coach at Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga, was sentenced Friday to 9 years and 4 months for placing a hidden camera in the girls' locker room and secretly photograph 21 girls in the locker room. The camera, which looked like a phone charger, was discovered by another staff member who immediately alerted police.
Riden was arrested last year and pleaded guilty last month to charges of possession of over 600 images of child sexual assault material, secretly photographing a minor, and using a minor to produce such material. Riden will also register as a sex offender.
