New Law Wants To Introduce Tipping At Major Retailers like Walmart

A new law in Colorado could prevent major retailers like Walmart and Target from preventing employees from accepting cash tips.

This means an employee wouldn't be reprimanded, demoted or fired for accepting a cash tip from a shopper. Lawmakers for the bill say allowing retail workers to accept tips would help those earning only minimum wage, which is $13.65 an hour in Colorado. [Read More]
