I have always wanted to do the half-court shot contest at a basketball game. This lucky fan able to live out my dreams, but those dreams were cut short after he got injured while taking the shot at a Lakers game. Now typically, I would think this is a skit because a lot of arenas plant these "fan" interactions for entertainment.
This guy looked like he was in serious pain though. I would be too, if I possibly rupture my achilles AND miss out on a chance to win $55,000!
