50 Cent, Drake & Others Caught Up In Texas Voting Prank

A prankster in Texas thought it would be a fun idea to register 50 Cent, Drake, and The Game as voters in the state. An investigation in Katy, Texas, found those names, as well as Chris Brown and Trey Songz, as falsely registered to vote in the state.

How did this happen? Federal law doesn't require the state to ask for ID, Driver's License, or Social Security numbers to register. All you need is your name and birth date.

If caught, the joke could be on the person who filled out the names, because they had to sign the registration. The disclaimer next to the dotted line says, "I understand that giving false information to procure a voter registration is perjury and a crime under state and federal law. Conviction of this crime may result in imprisonment up to one year in jail, a fine up to $4,000, or both."
