Hackers Stole The New 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' Movie & They're Gonna Leak It If They Don't Get A Ton Of Cash

Omgggg Nooooo!

Hackers have reportedly stolen the 5th installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series and are threatening to leak it if Disney/ABC doesn't pay up.

According to Complex, "During a townhall meeting in NYC on Monday, the studio’s CEO Bob Iger told ABC employees that hackers stole an upcoming film. They are demanding an undisclosed sum of money to be paid in Bitcoin."

While Iger did not reveal which film it was, Deadline has confirmed that it is indeed Dead Men Tell No Tales.

UGH. This is why we can't have nice things.

The studio apparently has no plans of paying up and have gotten the FBI involved. According to the hackers, of they do not receive the money they're requesting they plan on leaking the film in increments.

I can't.

The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is set to hit theaters May 26th. We can definitely hold out for a little bit longer! No need for a leak...
