8 School Shooting Threats This Past Week in Southern California

There have been eight separate school shooting threats and eight people have been arrested this past week in Southern California. 

Here's the list:

Norco:
27 year old Jacob Ryan McBain was arrested Wednesday after posting comments on his Facebook page that indicated he intended to shoot people at a local college campus. A loaded AR-15 was found inside his bedroom. Sheriff's officials confirmed that the threats were made against Riverside City College's Norco campus. Source: ABC 7

Inglewood:
A person was detained by Inglewood police for a social media post they became aware of Monday that indicated "students attending a specific Inglewood school were at risk of being targeted by a shooter". Source: LA Times

Lancaster:
Lancaster police arrested two students who threatened to "shoot up" Lancaster High School. According to Lancaster police, students heard the two suspects discussing "shooting up the school". Source: The Herald

Long Beach:
Three Long Beach area schools we under investigation after several threats were made by students. A 16- year old at Wilson High School and a 15-year-old at Long Beach Millikan High School were arrested on Wednesday. Source: Press-Telegram

Whittier:
A teen and his adult brother were arrested by Whittier police after a security officer at El Camino High School said he overheard the student making threats last Friday. Source: LA Times

Video Threat:
Deputies were still investigating a video, reportedly made by a parent, that has been circulating social media sites.
