According to Riverside Unified School District, a message that circulated around social media Wednesday evening which made reference to "being safe at school on Thursday" was deemed to be non-credible by Riverside Police since it did did not include any direct threats to any RUSD Schools.
They also go on to say that there have been several similar non-credible threats to schools and districts across the country since last week's shooting incident in Florida, and RUSD and RPU would like to assure you that they take every threat seriously and will work closely to support our schools and that additional personnel will be present on any campus that has received questionable messages.
