Mandatory Quarantine Ordered for All 195 American Evacuees from China

All 195 Americans that were evacuated from Wuhan, China to March Air Reserve Base earlier this week in order to escape the coronavirus are now under mandatory quarantine. At first officials said they would keep them under observation for 72 hours and that they would be free to leave after that even though the incubation period for the virus is 14 days.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), this is the first federal quarantine since the 1960's, when onw was issued for the potential spread of smallpox.
