Riverside County's health chief Officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser declared a local health emergency Sunday after the first "locally acquired" case of the coronavirus. Officials have not identified the patient and is currently undergoing testing at Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage. This brings the total of coronavirus cases that has infected Riverside county residents to two. The other case was a person who was a passenger on the Diamond Princess cruise ship and was diagnosed last week. That person is recovering in a medical facility in Northern California.
