Patients at Riverside Nursing Home Evacuated After Employees Do Not Show Up

According to health officials, 84 patients from Magnolia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Riverside are being moved to other health care locations throughout the county after employees there did not show up for work two days in a row. Only one of the facility's nursing assistants showed up for work. Riverside University Health System and Kaiser Permanente sent nurses to help out. Magnolia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center has 39 confirmed coronavirus cases. 34 are residents and 5 are employees.
