The NFL isn't kidding around about masking protocol. USA Today reports the league has fined three coaches $100,000 each for not wearing masks while coaching games over the weekend. Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan and Denver Broncos coach Vic Fangio are the three coaches who were penalized, according to a source familiar with the league's decision. In addition, the three teams were also fined $250,000. The NFL and the NFL Players Association had jointly agreed to the mask policy. Last week, NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent sent a memo to the 32 teams reminding them of the coronavirus-related mask requirement. There is no word yet if there will be further fines this week, as neither Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden, nor New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton wore masks during their teams' Monday Night Football game.
