Corona Movie Theater Shooting Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

20 year-old Joseph Jimenez who is suspected of randomly shooting two people in a movie theater in Corona plead not guilty by reason of insanity on Monday to the two counts of murder and especial circumstance allegations of lying in wait. The charges would make him eligible for the death penalty if convicted.

One of the victims, 18 year-old Rylee Goodrich died at the scene, and 19 year-old Anthony Barajas died after being removed from life support.

Jimenez had given an interview in jail to the Press-Enterprise where is claimed voices in his head made him shoot and kill the two teens.
