More horrible stories are coming out of the Astroworld disaster. Houston Police Chief Troy Finner has acknowledged reports of drug needle spiking at the concert.
One instance that gained steam online was a report of a security guard being pricked in the neck by a needle and passing out. He needed to be revived with Narcan.
Finner said, “The medical staff did notice a prick that was similar to a prick that you would get if somebody was trying to inject.” Finner also said that authorities noticed concertgoers “going down” during the concert.
People with the needles would "spike" innocent bystanders and inject them with a drug. Ketamine and fentanyl have been mentioned in similar spiking attacks. [Fox]
