Paul Edward Lowe, 61, of Corona, was arrested earlier this month after a former student accused him of being sexually abused by him over 20 years ago. The Riverside Police Department said that Lowe, a former teacher and youth sports coach, was charged with 14 counts of sexual assault of a child.
The victim, now 32-years-old, said that he was sexually abused by his 4th grade teacher while attending school at Taft Elementary in Riverside. According to police, Lowe worked at Taft from 1997 to 2002, but resigned after he was arrested and convicted for a sexual assault of a minor in Los Angeles County.
