I found this story while scrolling through Twitter, but it serves as a cautionary tale. I spend A LOT of time on TikTok. I am always seeing oversharing WAY TOO MUCH to the point that it has real-world consequences. This is the latest example. A trend on the app where people take turns saying what their "ick" is about a specific thing made its way to some labor and delivery nurses.
Basically an "ick" is something that's a turnoff or makes you uncomfortable. These nurses took turns saying what their ick was at the cost of the expecting parents.
Very unfortunate that they thought it was okay to post this, at least if you do, keep it anonymous. Check out the video below.
Since the video went viral, all of those who participated were fired.
