Four men have been arrested in connection with a gang-related shooting that took place in a WinCo parking lot in Clovis, California earlier this month. The incident, which occurred on April 8, resulted in one man being hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the leg, per ABC 30.

According to a release from the Clovis Police Department, the suspects, identified as 42-year-old Adarrius Stevenson Sr., 22-year-old Adarrius Stevenson Jr., 25-year-old Charles Muhammad and 22-year-old Dominique Williams, were arrested and taken into custody by detectives. Stevenson Sr. and Muhammad, along with Williams, were charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Stevenson Jr. was arrested on suspicion of concealing evidence and weapons possession due to his status as a convicted felon on probation.

Police claim the shooting incident took place because members of two rival gangs happened to be in the same location at the same time. During the shooting, a parked car with two children inside was hit by bullets, leading to additional child endangerment charges for Muhammad and Williams. Fortunately, the children were not injured.

The arrests were made without any injuries, and the Fresno Adult Compliance Team (ACT) assisted in the operation. All four suspects have been booked into the Fresno County Jail.
