The heat was all the way up in Miami as Ludacris performed during an exclusive show during Art Basel — so much, that the Fire Marshal stopped the performance after only 30 minutes!

Performing at Nylon's Art Basel party at Real Housewives of Miami star, Lenny Hochstein's mansion on Star Island, which was attended by stars including Camila Cabello, Janelle Monáe and DJ John Summit, Luda performed some of his iconic hits, including "Area Codes" and "What's Your Fantasy." However, after 30 minutes, the Fire Marshal appeared on stage to stop the performance — but it was all planned.

A spokesperson for Nylon told Page Six, "Ludacris hit the stage on time at 11pm and was having so much fun that he extended his performance to over 45 minutes and the party went on until well after midnight, with partygoers enjoying everything the e.l.f. sponsored bash had to offer."

This was Ludacris' first time in Miami for Art Basel, and it's safe to say it was a success. In fact, he told Page Six that he started collecting art himself. He explained, "I just started collecting art. I wanted to focus on it after focusing on real estate. You have to buy all the houses first before you get the art for them." He added, "I love all the creative energy that comes to the city,” Ludacris — donning a custom $50,000 diamond Movado watch — told us of being in town during the high-profile event. “I don’t love the traffic, but I love all the creatives and all the art."
