44-year-old teacher Brian Nichols from Palm Springs was arrested on Monday after he was found to be under the influence of alcohol while teaching students in a school in Thermal, CA. Authorities did not reveal the name of the school but said that it is located in the 86100 block of Avenue 66.
Nichols was charged with public intoxication, possession of alcohol on school grounds and child endangerment according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
