California's Inflation Relief Payments, also known as the "Middle Class Tax Refund" and "Golden State Stimulus", are due to go out October and November to qualified California residents. The checks range from $200 to $1,050 depending on your income and filing status.

Qualified Californian's who filed their 2020 taxes electronically by October 15, 2021, used direct deposit and where a resident of California for at least six months at the time they filed, should start seeing payments in their account between October 7th - 25th. The second batch of payments will go out between October 28th - November 14th.

If you did not file electronically, or if you did not receive a refund payment through direct deposit, you can expect to receive a debit card in the mail between October 25th and December 10th.

Find out if you qualify at ftb.ca.gov.
