Authorities said Wednesday that 15-year-old Savannah Graziano, who police assumed was abducted on Monday by her father who was suspected of murdering her mother, shot at deputies during the chase before she was killed at the shootout that occurred on the 15 Freeway in Hesperia on Tuesday. This came after authorities viewed a video that was posted on social media Wednesday that suggested the 15-year-old girl was "a participant in shooting at our deputies."
According to authorities, when Tuesday's chase came to a stop, Savannah Graziano got out and ran toward deputies wearing a tactical vest and helmet during the shootout. That is when she was shot. Authorities do not know yet if she was shot by her father or deputies, or both. Her father was also shot and killed in the shootout.
