Police arrested 23-year-old Pablo Estrada of San Bernardino Wednesday in connection with the shooting that occurred at the Inland Center Mall in San Bernardino on Friday, September 30. According to San Bernardino Police, Estrada was identified as the shooter after reviewing security footage and from statements from the victim and witnesses.
Authorities said Estrada was waiting outside the mall in a vehicle that was being driven by a woman after a confrontation with the victim. There was also a 4-year-old child in the vehicle with Estrada when he fired the gun at the victim. The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Estrada was booked and charged with attempted murder.
