Gunshots Reported Near Riverside School

There were unconfirmed reports of a gunshot near Riverside STEM Academy in Riverside, CA at around 7:30am on Wednesday morning. Several Riverside police officers arrived on the scene along with the police helicopter and were searching the surrounding neighborhood. According to a Riverside STEM Academy staff member, the school was on lockdown and they were waiting for the police to give them the all clear. Riverside Police Department notified the school at 8:05am that there was no verified danger to the school campus.
