48-year-old John Jacob Olivas from Riverside, a former special agent with Homeland Security Investigations, was sentenced to life in prison for sexually assaulting two women while he was a federal agent and using his position as an agent to keep them from reporting him for his crimes.
According to reports, Olivas attempted to rape a woman back in January 2012 and told the victim that he was untouchable and above a cop due to his position as an agent. In September 2012 and November 2012 Olivas raped two women using the same tactics. According to one of the victims, Olivas said he was "invincible to the criminal justice system," while pointing a gun at her.
