50-year-old Rene Ramirez of Indio, CA was arrested Wednesday, April 24th after Moreno Valley Sheriff's received a report of an attempted kidnapping of two female juveniles that happened in Moreno Valley near Cactus Ave. and Perris Blvd. According to reports, Ramirez pulled alongside the two girls and attempted to pull one of the girls into his vehicle, but the girl was able to get away and notified the school staff once they arrived at school.
Moreno Valley Sheriffs located the vehicle near Ormista Dr. and Searson Dr. and arrested Ramirez. He is being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center and is charged with for attempted kidnapping and annoying and molesting children.
