Surveillance video has been released that shows a man dragging what appears to be a container with a women's body inside to a dumpster in El Monte. The body was discovered in the dumpster by police Tuesday morning after a neighbor reported what he saw.
The suspect, David Lemus-Orellana, 22, of El Monte was arrested by police on Wednesday. He and the victim, 64-year-old Florinda Velasquez-Hernandez, were roomates who shared a trailer. No clear motive has been found and the victim's cause of death is unknown at this time.
