On the show yesterday, I shared one of my favorite recipes to bring to a party. I was hit up by multiple people asking for me to post it here so they could make it themselves.
This cheddar ranch dip has been deemed "crack dip" by my family and is so popular that whenever we go to a potluck, it's what I'm requested to bring... YUP, IT'S THAT GOOD. But, I can't take the credit, I got this recipe from Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee on the Food Network.
Here are the 3 ingredients that take 2 minutes to mix. My style of cooking.
- 1 cup sour cream (16 ounces)
- 1 cup cheese dip (recommended: Tostitos Salsa con Queso works the absolute best, use the whole 15 ounce jar)
- 1 envelope (1 ounce) ranch dressing mix (recommended: Hidden Valley)
Mix them all together and that's it!
Sandra Lee's recipe recommends you cut up carrots and other veggies to go along with it, but my friends and family add this dip to EVERYTHING. I personally think it goes best with chips and tacos.
Let me know if you try it out!!
