The family of an Eastvale man who was left on life-support after an altercation at a Dodgers game last week has reached out to us to help get the word out about finding the assailant.
Someone struck Rafael Reyna, 47, of Eastvale, in the head, knocking him to the ground early on the morning of Saturday, March 30, after a game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Doctors at USC/LA County Medical Center told relatives that he suffered a skull fracture and severe trauma, according to Reyna’s stepson, Joshua Speiginer, 22.
As of Tuesday, officials had not publicly named a suspect in the attack on Reyna, and the Los Angeles Police Department continued its investigation into the assault. Authorities described one suspect as a man in his 20s who may have left the parking lot in a white SUV, possibly a Toyota 4Runner.
Joshua has been trying to help his mother through this tragic situation and asked us to urge anyone with information to please come forward.
The family has also set up a GoFundMe Page to assist with the medical bills currently piling up.
