During the second inning of the hometown L.A. Dodgers' 2-1 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday, a fan holding some expensive garlic fries in one hand pursued a foul ball that had been hit near his seat. He dropped the fries, but got the ball. An inning later, the same fan was holding a pizza slice when another foul ball came his way. Again, he pursued it. Again, he dropped the food. But this time, he didn't get the ball. By Yahoo's estimate, the fan literally dropped $18 on uneaten food, but came away with a souvenir baseball. [Deadspin]
