Florida Teacher Under Fire For Writing "WTF?" on School Assignment

This morning, in the KGGI Courtroom, we discussed whether or not a teacher deserves to be reprimanded for writing "WTF is this? absolutely no credit" on a high school student's homework.

Here's the whole story:

A Florida mom is hopping mad after her son's high school science teacher used profanity on a homework assignment she deemed unacceptable. According to NBC affiliate WJHG, the unnamed teacher wrote, "WTF is this? Absolutely no credit" atop the homework sheet submitted by Melinda Smith's son. "It wasn't anything about not getting the credit, it was more so the language about what the writing to students, that was very inappropriate and not acceptable for a teacher whatsoever," Smith says. "I believe that something should be placed in her file." Rutherford High School principal Coy Pilson told the TV station that the instructor "was apologetic, and it was a mistake on her part," and added that he "notified district officials and our HR has been involved and they're currently investigating the situation."

Alright, you are the judge and jury... Do you think this teacher deserved to be reprimanded? ODM and I had VERY different takes on this story.

and should this go on a teacher's file
