Lizzo stole the show at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Monday night with a spirited performance of her hit single “Juice.” After being introduced as the "baddest rapper, singer, and flutist" in the game by Tiffany Haddish, the performer took to the stage in choir robes. She then stripped off the robes to reveal a sexy black-and-gray outfit and instructed her backup singers and dancers to show off their street clothes and dance around the stage. During the ceremony, Bazzi also performed his new song “Paradise.”
On to the Winners...
Avengers: Endgame and Noah Centineo were the big winners at the 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards on Monday night. In addition to Endgame winning Best Movie, star Robert Downey Jr. took home the golden popcorn for Best Hero. Josh Brolin was also named Best Villain for his portrayal of Thanos in Endgame. Meanwhile, Centineo won the the award for Breakthrough Performance, as well as Best Kiss with his To All the Boy I’ve Loved Before co-star Lana Condor. During the ceremony, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson also received the Generation Award and Jada Pinkett-Smith was named MTV’s 2019 Trailblazer.
