I might be just a little too excited about the news that IKEA has chosen the IE for their new location, but what can I say? I love building my own furniture and meatballs.
According the the Press Enterprise, IKEA has had their eye on the IE for a while and have finally confirmed that they will be building a new 330,000 square foot store in Ontario!
Here are some of the details:
IKEA has bought 19 acres of land in the 257-acre Meredith International Centre, where it plans to build a 330,000-square-foot store.
The new store will create hundreds of new jobs for the city.
IKEA chose Ontario to get closer to customers who live farther away from its existing stores.
IKEA opened 19 new stores in 2018
I'm so happy to not have to drive out to the West Covina location anymore!
