On Wednesday night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host recruited Cardi B and Offset for his latest segment of New Lyrics for Old People. After the rappers recited their lyrics to "Clout," Kimmel translated them for older people to understand. Highlights included Offset's lyric, "Get the whip, put it up for my seeds / No cure for the IG disease" getting translated to, "I'm saving my money for my children and I love Instagram a lot," while Cardi B's lyric, "I should run a whole blog at this rate / b**ches even wanna start fake beef / to sell their little weave in the mixtape," was translated to, “Since you’re such a topic of conversation, you’re thinking of becoming CEO of BuzzFeed, and women are instigating fights to promote their music and hair extensions.”
