High Wind Warning Prompts Possible Power Outages For 100,000 IE Residents

Fire and Wind will be top of mind today in the Inland Empire.

There is a fire burning in San Bernardino that has closed hwy 18 in crestline. The winds in the area are said to be gusty right now and at this point it has burned up to 75 acres with zero containment. 80 Homes have been evacuated. An evacuation center has opened at San Gorgonio High School. Those needing an alternate route can use the 330.

With that said… The IE is under a high wind warning AND a red flag warning which is double trouble. With the low humidity the risk of fire danger is very high.
