On Friday, a Jurupa Valley woman became the 59th victim of the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. The New York Post reports that Kim Gervais died of cardiac arrest due to the stress of injuries she sustained in the shooting that left her paralyzed from the neck down. Gervais was left with scrap metal and bullets inside her body after she was shot at Las Veags' Route 91 Harvest Festival in October 2017. "Even though she was paralyzed...she could feel all the pain,” her sister said. "She lost her zest for life because of it."
This just breaks me... Sending so much love and warmth to her family and to all the survivors who continue to deal with the after effects of this horrific night.
