Feeling a little disconnected while you’re cooped up at home? It’s something a lot of us are dealing with right now and people are finding different ways to cope with not going out into the world every day. Now there’s a new online platform, Girls Nite In Online, that’s here to help by connecting and supporting women whose workspaces have closed because of coronavirus.
They offer 30-minute online classes and workshops led by different women every day whose businesses are not open now, including chefs, fitness instructors, and makeup artists. Their virtual classes are all donation-based through Venmo and 100% of the donations go directly to the woman leading the class.
Every day they have:
- Exercise class in the morning from 7:30 am to 8 EST
- Educational or activity based workshops in the afternoons from 4pm to 4:30 EST - there’s one Monday about how to color your hair at home!
- And Fridays at 4 pm is Happy Hour with a featured mixologist. Today, it’s a workshop on Classic French Wines.
We can’t get out and connect in-person, but this could be a cool way to support women and break up our days at home while clearing our minds or learning something new.
