The Weeknd Debuts New Song "I'm a Virgin" While Guesting on "American Dad"

Like a virgin, American Dad has been touched for the very first time by the magic of A-list artist The Weeknd. On Monday, the TBS sitcom aired an episode that The Weeknd not only co-wrote with producer Joel Hurwitz; he also guest-starred as himself while debuting a brand-new song on the show titled "I'm a Virgin." The tongue-in-cheek ballad features lyrics like, "I know you can't believe it's true / But I'm man enough to say to you / I'm a virgin." The Weeknd told Variety about his appearance on the series, “I’m a longtime fan of the show. I always wanted to play a character that was the opposite of the public’s perception of me—and of course make fun of myself. Once I was given the opportunity I took complete advantage. Joel Hurwitz believed in the vision and he helped execute it beautifully.”
