David Arquette has signed on to reprise the role of Sheriff Dewey Riley in an upcoming fifth installment of the Scream horror franchise, Consequence of Sound reports. Also returning is original screenwriter Kevin Williamson, who will be an executive producer on the project. Arquette starred in all four previous Scream films, and said he's excited to return. “Scream has been such a big part of my life, and for both the fans and myself, I look forward to honoring Wes Craven’s legacy," he said. Reports indicate that several other original cast members, including Neve Campbell, could also return.
