Nearly 25 years after its final episode aired on Nickelodeon, Ren and Stimpy is returning to TV. The revived series will air on Comedy Central featuring a "reimagined" take of the adult animated series,The Hollywood Reporter notes. (The program was briefly revived in a three episode spin-off series on Spike in 2003, as well). Billy West — who did the voice for Stimpy as well as for Ren (for three seasons) — is said to be part of the new project,The New York Post reports, along with several of the original writers. In addition to a revival of Beavis and Butthead and a Daria spinoff called Jodie, Ren & Stimpy is slated to air in the next year and a half.
